Philosophy

We make body care that holds up to scrutiny.

Most luxury body care is built on the same commodity base — the same surfactants, the same thickeners, the same synthetic fragrance accords.

Different bottles, different stories, identical formulas underneath. We wanted to know what happens when you strip that away and start with one question: what does this formula actually need?

The answer, it turns out, is less than the industry assumes. Fewer ingredients, each at higher concentration, doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

Formulation

Eighteen ingredients. Each one accounted for.

Our hand wash contains 18 ingredients where others use 30 to 40. We didn't arrive at that number by setting a target — we arrived at it by refusing to include anything that doesn't serve a clear purpose. Every botanical is chosen for function. Every surfactant is chosen for gentleness. The preservation system is naturally-derived. There is nothing in the formula for marketing copy, and nothing is filler.

Botanical Concentration

Silk fibroin. Prickly pear. Niacinamide. Every ingredient earns its place.

In most 'botanical' body care, plant ingredients appear well below surfactants, thickeners, and fillers in the INCI list. They're present at trace levels — enough for the label, not enough for your skin.

We formulate differently. Our hand wash features silk fibroin — a bioactive protein rarely found in wash formulations. Our body lotion is built around niacinamide and prickly pear seed oil. You can feel the difference from the first use.

The best formulation isn't the one with the most ingredients. It's the one where every ingredient is doing something you can feel.
Formulation principle
Fragrance

Composed entirely from natural essential oils.

Our fragrances are developed with perfumer Chris Bauer at Maison Anonyme in New York. Each scent is built from natural essential oils and botanical extracts — no synthetic fragrance compounds, no accords engineered for maximum projection.

The result is fragrance that's present but not performative. It stays close, rewards attention, and lingers briefly on clean skin rather than filling a room.

The Vessel

A permanent object designed to stay.

Every oeste product ships in a glass vessel designed to remain in your space permanently. The form is deliberate — weighted, proportioned, finished to sit naturally on stone, wood, or concrete. When the formula runs low, you order a 1-litre refill pouch. The bottle stays.

Less packaging. Less waste. Better economics. A bottle you actually want visible on your counter.

See what's inside.

Every formula. Every ingredient list. Every scent note. No fine print, no footnotes.
